Online retailers have finally made their move to secure a large percentage of gamers who are looking to get their hands on the latest addition to the Call of Duty first person shooter series of games following its announcement earlier this week.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 has finally been given a release date and now retailers are looking to take advantage of the 8th November 2011 release date by offering gamers the opportunity to preorder Modern Warfare 3 for the gaming platform of their choice, even promising them free express postage that will ensure that you are one of the first gamers to get your hands on the game.
Millions of gamers are expected to take up the chance to pre-order Modern Warfare 3 following repeated successes within the first day of release sales that the series has experienced over previous releases, especially their 2009 addition, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Modern Warfare 2 became the fastest selling computer game in history after sales raced as high as 7 million copies of the game being sold within the first 24 hours of the game being placed onto public sale, a response that even the online gaming communities found hard to predict.
The currently marketed price for the game looks set to be £54.99 but with the likes of online retailer Amazon purchasing huge quantities of the game, they are looking to pass on their savings to you, offering the pre order Modern Warfare 3 price for £42.91 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gamers.
A brief look elsewhere on the internet shows that this is the lowest price found at the moment and you can order your copy of MW3 safe in the knowledge that you are only billed the lowest amount at the time of release, meaning that should Amazon opt to slash the price even further, you will get the lowest price.
