Whats It All About?
With the recent launch of Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) we thought that we would have a look at how the game measured up to real life, tracking the statistics and the data that we could collate in order to give you a clear view of the numbers involved when it comes to war, either real or simulated.
The outcome can be seen above and we know that you will agree that the numbers involved are unbelievable when brought together in this context, I mean would you have known that the war in Iraq cost 265 times more than the complete franchise of Call of Duty, even with the first person shooter games breaking records for being the biggest gaming console title in history?
The MW3 infographic that you can see above shows you more statistical information than you have ever seen in one place in relation to the war on terrorism compared with the biggest selling console game in history, everything from the fact that Modern Warfare 3 sold 9.3 million copies within the first 24 hours of release, creating $560 million in sales right through to the fact that the creators of the game would be able to purchase as many as 8 V-22 Osprey war planes just on the first day sales alone.
We have looked to leave no stone unturned in our comparison of the facts and stats and we hope that you enjoy reading the facts that we have compiled and hope that you will help to spread the intel through as many measures as you can, helping us to get the statistics seen and known across the globe.
Remember that every share, stumble and like helps, so please spend a moment showing your appreciation and we will look to continue to develop more of these!
